This is an RP Account, based on Poppy Z. Brite's Character Ghost from Lost Souls and the harder-to-find short stories Angels, Night Story 1973 and unpublished novella Hotel Califonia.

Ghost is Skinny, blue eyed, blonde hair and on outward appearance, seemingly fragile. He's described as "a kid from North Carolina who listens to the stars sing, and thought the Moon was his mother". He may be on the Autistic Spectrum. Or just psychic. Or some combination of Both.

Raised by his Grandmother, the famous Witch and Herbalist Miz Deliverance in the Mountains of North Carolina, Ghost is a gentle soul with a fondness for too much cheap wine, shitty beer, whiskey and good music.

After his Grandfather's death and sometime after his 10th birthday his Grandmother moved them to the small town of Missing Mile. He skipped a grade and became best friends with Steve Finn a boy from his class. The two grew up together and after his Grandmother's death became housemates. They started the Band Lost Souls? which has had some small indy success. Ghost is the singer of Lost Souls? and has a voice described as "Gravel and Gold". He doesn't play the guitar particularly well but...he tries.

With a name like Ghost, being a redneck from the mountains and with a witch for a grandmother, he's always been regarded as a bit weird, but the old men who sit outside the hardware store playing chess know that when Ghost says 'bad times' are coming, he's smelled it in the air, and it'll be soon.

Ghost sleeps more than the average person, falls asleep anywhere and everywhere, and dreams always. He talks to the dead, feeds stray cats and knows things about people that he shouldn't know. He sees the future (and sometimes the past) in his dreams, feels secrets and stories when he looks at people. He's learned the hard way that most people really don't want their hearts or minds looked into--and he does try to respect their privacy.

Ghost has been described by Steve as someone who walks through the world like he's half asleep. The exception is when he's drunk, or singing. In a fight, it's been said can hold his own--if he's properly awake.

Ghost is played several years post 'Lost Souls' while Lost Souls is on tour. PB is Berthold Rothas. The Band Lost Souls sounds (imo) like a cross between Hozier and Days of the New while Travis was doing a lot of Heroin.

**Although Ghost is avid Pot-smoker, hard drinker, accessory to Drunk Driving, and considers himself a murderer for the events in Lost Souls, I do not condone any sort of illegal activity. The book is problematic as fuck and the characters while Romanticized, are often horrible people who get rewarded for being shitty. Everything here is intended to be taken as fictional and not to endorse or glamorize any lifestyle behaviour but tell interesting stories**
